Our honey is one of the closest things to nature you can get.

We pride ourselves on being able to trace every jar of honey back to the site it came from and, because it's all small batch and single site, it's all limited edition.

We don't heat treat any of our honey and we don't use any chemicals in our hives.

We also offer a fill your own service - while we don't use plastic for any of our honey, we're more than happy to refill your container to keep it away from landfill. Just bring your own container into the shop and get 25% off the kilo price for that honey variety.

But wait, there's more...we're also able to supply honey in bulk. Again, while we generally pack our honey in glass jars, we can look at options for providing honey in non-glass containers, with 2.5kg, 5kg and 10kg options for a selection of our honey varieties.

We started off by suggesting what each honey was ideal for, but let's be honest...all our honey is great for toast, coffee, mead, baking and by the spoonful.

  • Aristaeus 2022 Kanuka honey
    A sweet Kanuka sourced from Apley Road, Puketapu (west of Napier).

    Softly crystalised, this honey is great for toast and smoothies.

    A bold but sweet Rewarewa, sourced from Lake Opouahi at Tutira, north of Napier.

    Still runny in the jar as of November 2022.

    Great for cheese boards, baking, smoothies and toast.

    Aristaeus 2023 Seventy Mile Bush honey
    Harvested in May 2023 from the outskirts of Dannevirke in an area steeped in history.

    This is both a rare and a delicious honey...we only got a little over 5kg in total from four hives this year.

    A rich, full flavour and available in 250g jars, as well as part of our gift box selection.

  • Aristaeus raw clover blend honey 1kg
    Raw and unadulterated. Still runny in the jar (September 2024).

    Sourced from the Te Kopia Road, Reporoa in the mighty Waikato. Predominantly clover (55%),, closely followed by trefoil (lotus) (28%). A light, sweet honey.

    Available in 1kg plastic jars - a better freight option for anyone from out of town wishing to purchase.

    NEW Aristaeus 2025 Estella honey
    Harvested in March 2025, our Estella honey is from home base on my parent's kiwifruit orchard in Meeanee, Napier and named after my great grandparents house in Kennedy Road (back when people named their homes).

    It has an awesome flavour and, while I can't guarantee the source nectar, there was a pretty diverse range of nectar available, including clover, mellow, fucshia, squash, gum, thistle, comfrey, box thorn and bottlebrush.
